Colleen Langner

Colleen Langner is executive vice president and chief operations officer at Cox Communications. In this role, Langner oversees regional field services, outside plant maintenance, public affairs, and customer experience and service reliability operations.

 

Langner is a Cox veteran, having held various senior-level marketing, sales and operations roles with Cox in Atlanta and Southern California.  Immediately prior to her current role, Langner served as executive vice president, chief marketing and sales officer, where she was responsible for leading the company’s residential sales team and marketing activities.

 

Her passion and contributions to the industry have been recognized by several organizations. In 2022, the WICT Network named Langner its “Woman of the Year – Operator.” It is WICT’s highest individual accolade, bestowed on individuals who embody the organization’s mission to develop women leaders who transform the industry.  In 2017, Multichannel News honored Colleen with a Wonder Woman award, given to female executives at the forefront of the cable television and communication industry. She is also the recipient of numerous CableFAX “Most Powerful Women Awards” and the “Woman of the Year” from the Women in Cable Southern California Chapter.

 

Colleen enjoys giving back to industry initiatives, trade associations and non-profit organizations She serves as a Southeast Trustee for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and is currently on the board of directors for iNDemand, Adaptive Spirit as well as the CTAM Educational Foundation. She is the former chair of the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM) Cable Co-op board of directors, as well as the Georgia State Marketing Round Table. She has also served on the board of CTAM West, the California Cable Television Association, and was president of the Los Angeles Cable Co-op.

 

Langner is a graduate of Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She further honed her leadership skills at CTAM University at Harvard Business School and WICT’s Senior Executive Summit at Stanford Graduate School of Business.

 

A Midwesterner at heart, she was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Langner now lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her family.
