Colleen Langner is executive vice president and chief residential officer at Cox Communications. In this role, she oversees residential customer experience, residential marketing, Cox Communities, sales and service, and product management.
Langner is a Cox veteran, having held various executive and senior-level marketing, sales and operations roles with Cox in Atlanta and Southern California. Immediately prior to her current role, she served as executive vice president, chief operations officer, where she was responsible for overseeing regional field services, network maintenance, public affairs, customer experience operations as well as corporate and internal communications.
Langner’s passion and contributions to the industry have been recognized by several organizations. In 2022, the WICT Network named her its “Woman of the Year – Operator.” This is WICT’s highest individual accolade, bestowed on individuals who embody the organizations mission to develop women leaders who transform the industry. In 2017, Multichannel News honored her with a Wonder Woman award, given to female executives at the forefront of the cable television and communications industry. She is also the recipient of numerous CableFAX “Most Powerful Women Awards” and the “Woman of the Year” from the Women in Cable Southern California Chapter.
Langner enjoys giving back to industry initiatives, trade associations and non-profit organizations. She is a Southeast Trustee for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and currently serves on the board of directors for iNDemand, the CTAM Educational Foundation and Adaptive Spirit, a significant fundraiser for the United States Paralympics Ski and Snowboard Teams.
Langner is a graduate of Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She further honed her leadership skills at CTAM’s Cable Executive Management program at Harvard Business School and WICT’s Senior Executive Summit at Stanford Graduate School of Business.
