Cox’s Murray Goldstein Recognized for Business Marketing at CTAM Summit
Goldstein named 2010 Rainmaker for Solutions for Small Business program

NEW ORLEANS – Today, the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM) named Murray Goldstein as a 2010 Rainmaker for his work on Solutions for Small Business (SFSB), a program that provides free online resources for small business, including webcasts, podcasts, white papers and case studies from industry experts.

CTAM awards the Rainmaker distinction to members who play an essential role in growing the cable business through participation in the association’s corporate partner initiatives. The award was presented to Goldstein, Cox’s director of commercial marketing strategy, during the closing session of the 2010 CTAM Summit.

“Small business executives wear many hats and face unique challenges, and Solutions for Small Business delivers valuable resources to help them maintain a competitive edge,” said Tony Maldonado, vice president of acquisition marketing and sciences, Cox Communications. “Murray’s work on creative programs such as Solutions for Small Business demonstrates that Cox Business and CTAM’s commitment to businesses extends beyond the traditional communications provider role to equipping them with the necessary tools to thrive.”

The fourth in the SFSB webcast series will take place on Oct. 28 at 2:00 p.m. and focuses on cybersecurity. The first three webcasts focused on marketing, accessing capital and using web tools. SFSB is a collaborative program supported by Bloomberg Television®, Cisco and 13 other cable companies.
