Cox Communications Ranked Best Company for Women in Cable
Cox Receives Best Operator Accolade from WICT for Seventh Consecutive Year

ATLANTA Cox Communications has been recognized as the Best Operator for Women in Cable by Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) for the seventh consecutive year.

The WICT Forerunner Accolade is awarded to one distinguished operator and programmer each year, based on the results of the seventh annual WICT PAR Initiative conducted in collaboration with Working Mother Media. PAR examines and ranks participating companies in the cable telecommunications industry according to three criteria: pay equity, advancement opportunities and resources for work/life support.

“WICT’s PAR Initiative identified impressive gains for women in several areas and Cox continues to place high value on diverse hiring and development as it seeks to acquire and retain the best talent in the industry,” said Mae Douglas, executive vice president and chief people officer. “The information in the report is crucial for monitoring the progress of gender diversity at Cox and the industry at large – we are proud of the fact that we’ve been ranked at the top each year.”
