Cox Makes Spanish Language Channels Available to Everyone for Free in Wake of Hurricane Maria
Free calling to the Caribbean extended

Atlanta, GA – September 22, 2017 – Today Cox Communications announced Cox will make two Spanish language networks, WAPA America and TV Dominicana, available to all Cox video customers where carried.  This is an effort to assist with communications and updates as a result of damages due to hurricane Maria.   Signals will be open from Thursday, 9/21 – Monday, 9/25 and will also be available for in-home viewing via the Contour app.  Channels are carried in the following Cox markets:

 

WAPA carriage:

Hampton Roads

Connecticut

Rhode Island

Hampton Roads

Nova

Las Vegas

Orange County

Arizona

San Diego

 

TV Dominicana carriage:

Connecticut

Rhode Island

 

Cox has also extended free calling for Cox Digital Telephone customers to the Caribbean through October 1. 

 

Customers do not need to take any action to receive this discount. It will automatically be applied to their account for long distance calling to the British Virgin Islands, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Turks and Caicos, U.S. Virgin Islands and the Bahamas.
